Hotel Il Canale is on the Aposa creek, with the privilege and the exclusivity to be in the centre of one of the most suggestive canals of Bologna, the Canal of Moline.

Located in the heart of the historical centre, it is 400 m far from Piazza Maggiore and very close to the main city’s attractions. It is possible to get to the Hotel walking from the train station or by car (in this case it is necessary to communicate the license plate’s number at the moment of the check in), parking in the public garage of Piazza VIII Agosto, behind the Hotel.

The Hotel has 16 rooms on three floors. Every floor has very particular vintage collector’s items, grouped for thematic; for this, there is the Floor of Vices, the Floor of the Voyage, the Floor of the Music and the Corridor of Arts.

Breakfast includes a rich buffet room and is served at the underground floor where you can arrive through the Corridor of Arts.

Breakfast’s room has particular stone vaulted ceiling and there is a little space which overlooks directly on the canal where is possible to admire a particular point of the creek.

It is also possible to have hot and cold beverages in the inner courtyard, appreciating the tranquility and charm of the Hotel.

Check in is from 12.00am to 10pm; check out is until10.00am but it is possible to leave – free of charge – the baggage in the hotel. Some changes should be decided with the staff.

The Hotel supports an ecofriendly policy and also receives – without additional costs – small animals.
